My current costs for my PAX cosplays are coming in around $130. And one of the costumes I’m not even doing at this point so I’ve only spent $10 total on it. So far the biggest ticket items have been in the $15 dollar range, and the most expensive was a pair of pants I bought instead of making. Even patterns can get expensive though so that’s not always the cheapest way out.
I probably shouldn’t turn this into a regular thing until I get rich and famous.
In happier news I did find some knobs that work perfectly as the round lights on an Intel case. Already put some primer on them since they’re hard and shiny plastic and I’ll be painting them soon.
I also got a thing of 3 switches that actually look like the ones on the box instead of regular lightswitches but I’m going to be returning them as they’re attached to a huge electrical box that would make it jut off the case.
