Scout’s Mom’s “black stripe;” belt, or literal stripe?
For the record, for my cosplay I use a wide black belt. I feel sewing or printing an actual stripe across the middle of a dress really bad design, ‘cuz if you don’t get it at the perfect point on your waist it’ll just look terrible.
Trying to convince my friend to change her Scout cosplay from RED to BLU for Sakuracon so my Scout’s Ma will look better.
She says she doesn’t want to ‘cuz “RED is better and they always win ‘cuz they have more people.”
All the more reason to go BLU then! D:
View Larger Think something happened to my brush, it doesn’t seem quite the same as before, so the lines are a little more chunky.
Made some changes, mostly to Scout, thanks mostly to Yang’s redline. It’s looking like I need to look at more butts to figure out the right bodily proportions, but I really don’t want to.
Looking for feedback same as before. Torsos and leg smooshing are hard.

Cyan reblogged a request or something to do with Soldier/Scout and while I don’t even usually think about Scout in pairrings (a little young and obnoxious for my tastes) this image immediately sprang to mind. Whether it’s just the two of them enjoying a good workout or Scout eyeing Soldier’s physique, you can decided I guess.
Also sort of just inspired in general by Lintu’s lovely renderings of Soldier and musculature, it was my one wish the whole time just to make sure Soldier looked beefy enough. He’s actually nowhere near as meaty as Lintu would make him but he’s better than I usually get out of myself so yay.
So dedicated to Cyan and Lintu then, and all you other crazy Soldier/Scout people.

And wow, I’m so glad to see Jathis’ comment too! I just knew this picture was an illustration for that story. I found the first part of it in TF2chan’s archives a while back; Google turned up some of the second, unarchived part. But this is the first time I’ve read it in full and I’m so glad I did, even if it breaks my heart.
I honestly believe that, right up until Spy shows up, this is maybe my favourite Scout/Medic porn ever. It’s good after too, but Spy is a bastard.
I actually sat here and read the whole thing, like a fool. This is why I can’t check Tumblr in the daytime; had to go pick up a check for work for a church freaking dripping…

View Larger I guess in a way this is fanart for Cyan based on their Addiction fic. They’re really a great writer, especially compared to your typical fan-fiction (not that I have a history of reading much of it in the first place).
I might clean this up later, and some of the anatomy is probably off (there’s always something, especially with a scroonchy pose like this one) but at least I like it for what it is.
Oh yeah, consider this smut a Valentine’s Day picture. If not emotional love and nurturing, we can at least get something physical, right?
Other than Pyro, I’ve always had issues with Scout, for pairing off shenanigans that is. And I think I’ve realized why.
The Scout is one of the strongest personalities on the team; definitely not one of the strongest combatants, but when it comes to attitude he’s basically number one. And I’ve been having a hard time reconciling this with any sort of romantic or non pairings. I thought it was just stereotypes setting in: gay guys can’t be tough assholes, that sort of thing. And maybe it is partially that. But I think it’s something else, too.
Even though Scout claims he’s tough, when it comes to respect I can’t really see anyone on the team backing him up, or paling around with him. Whereas the other have almost natural pairings or at least someone they could have a rivalry with (and non-conners love that) Scout’s pretty much always on his own. Kind of sad really, since it seems he’s been that way since he was a kid. He isolates himself behind a bloated ego and speed. Everyone else seems like they could at least be buddies, be it the drinking or the butt kind. Plus, it often seems more like everyone else is peers, while Scout is still sitting at the kids’ table. Hell, some of the stuff I’ve seen with him almost borders on pedophilia if the artist gets any of the “canon” porportions off.
I feel a little bad saying it, but as good as some of this art is, I mentally can’t stand a lot of Scout slash since it almost inevitably forces him into some (headcanon-speaking) OoC position. Often he ends up going from the smack-talking punk to the timid, inexperienced teen. Which I’m sure he could very well be, deep down inside, but even then, I don’t see anyone luring it out of him. Even when he’s in pain he can’t shut up about how bad it hurts; how exactly did a teammate get him to? This goes back to that whole respect thing; the other members may not like each other, but they’re all either smart enough, strong enough, or skilled enough to be able to cow each other into submission if need be. I really just can’t see Scout doing that to pretty much anyone, without their consent of course, and only then. So even when he’s on top it’s only ‘cuz they say so.
I haven’t looked into it much, but this is why I tend to really like the stuff Humon did with Scout. Relatively in-character while maintaining the porny status quo. I know a bunch of people have their little TF2 OCs and they can do whatever they want with them, but I tend to read the characters as a unit, like “all Medics are like X,” can’t really help it until I’m proven wrong by impressive creativity.
So, I don’t know. There’s my mini-essay on why Scout porn is always just a little more difficult for me to swallow.
View Larger So I’m running out of doodles to post; this one’s the penultimate but the first group one I did. Heavy’s head is probably too big. While I was working on it it looked okay but I went back and shaved some face off later, and it still looks too long I think.
Goes back to the crack-pairing thing. While I’m sure someone out there is into it (someone always is) there’s not many ways I could put these two together, and Scout ended up looking quite OoC for it. Also:

Had to do this one because the original digital version from a tiny sketch continued to look horrible. This one’s better, but is surpassed again by the new digital version, which is unfinished but getting there.
I can’t help but laugh at Scout, he’s such a goofball character, so rather than make a mockery of him I let him cover himself up while looking semi-badass. You know, for a tiny man.
